------------------------------------- [Is Paris Burning] In 1995, a program titled *The Century of Images *was broadcast to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the invention of motion pictures; it gathered precious film footage preserved around the world to look back on the history of the 20th century, and I was responsible for its music. The theme music, "Is Paris Burning", has continued to serve as the theme for the series ever since, and is still being played in the current installment, *The Century of Images: Butterfly Effect *(airing in 2026). The title of the music derives from a Nazi German operation during World War II that sought to destroy Paris. Yet Paris's destiny was not erased; it remains before us today. ------------------------------------- Takashi Kako Official Site Japanese / https://www.takashikako.com/ English / https://www.takashikako.com/en/ Takashi Kako Official X
